Bonnie in Ok
How do you knot and bury at the end of your stitching?
Quilting Heidi
Bonnie, I end my stitching and pull the machine head away from where I stitched, leaving about a 6" tail. I pull on the upper thread and pull up the bobbin thread. I use a pin to pull the loop up. Hold both threads together and tie in a knot, pushing the knot down to just above the quilt top. I use a self threading needle and put the needle back into the last stitch, burying the tail between the top and backing, into the batting about an inch. Give a good pull and trim thread right down to the top. Sounds like more work than it is for me.
Bonnie in Ok
do you do some very small stitches before the end or just the same size that you were quilting with?
Quilting Heidi
No I don't change my stitch length at all. No need to if you are knotting and burying.
