b.glass Posted May 7, 2013 Report Share Posted May 7, 2013 This is an FYI if anyone runs into this issue. I just took in a customer quilt that was pre-pinned with about 500 safety pins. She'd already started stitching in the ditch around the shirts. I wasn't sure if I could do this or how it would turn out but gave it a whirl. I though about ripping out what she'd already done but decided there was too much. I loaded it and thankfully she had left plenty of room top, bottom, and sides so it gave me some extra to work with. I left all the pins in and removed them as I quilted and forwarded the quilt. Anyway, it came out great without any puckers or issues. She was very please with it too.
