Bright sampler quilt with alternate chain blocks

Just off the frame-- a nicely-pieced sampler with alternate chain blocks.

The sampler blocks have traditional CCs and a few flourishes. I circled the pieced blocks with leafy wreaths, CCed the chains, stitched swirls and leaves (where they don't show) in the outer border and running leaves in the narrow blue border. It took forever but was lots of fun.  :)
