Customer quilt took twice as long as I anticipated

Recommended Posts

Here is a customer's quilt that took me what seemed like forever to get done. I'm delivering the quilt today. I hope she likes it. She will be scalloping the border so I put beadboard there. Quiltazoid spiral in "plain" blocks, McTavishing and cross hatching in detail blocks, and feathers in setting triangles and in the ribbon sashing. This was a pattern from a Quilt Sampler magazine that featured a local quilt shop that unfortunately had to close last year. Thanks for looking!

Thank you for the kind comments.  I sure hope she puts it in the quilt show, but she's got some work to do as it will be her first one to scallop the edges.  I have very little experience with that so I don't know how long that would take.

Since I've ran out of "likes" for the day, I want to thank each of you for the kind comments!

She loved it (delivered it Friday)! Her binding person (one of her close friends) loved it, too, and jokingly threatened not to return it! She said "I know where you live!" :D
