Merryjo2003
Hi all, That time of year again! This is the opportunity quilt for the Julian Woman's Club. It's the pattern from Eleanor Burn's new book, "El's Kitchen." We picked civil war reproductions as the parade theme this year is, "Julian Founding Families" and we thought it would look old fashioned. I would have liked to quilt it with crosshatching as the background, but I only had a day and a half to quilt it and feathers are a lot faster for me. Merryjo2003
Yes! Eleanor is a hoot. She takes the Julian quilt to Paducah and sells tickets for it. That's neat that you saw it there. I want to tag along and go to the show one of these years when I have time.
