chickenscratch
Update: The lady took the brown and pink one back to fix the messed up block. Here is the finished teal and brown one: 90 x 90. Customer provided Polyfil high loft batting I used Superior Highlights #309 top and bobbin Terry twists all over Piano keys in 8 inch borders. More pictures on the blog since I seem to have reached my limit here already
lsequilter
Did you notice that is one block on the brown quilt that might be a humility block? Look at the star in the lower right hand corner and then look up towards the left. That block looks different than the other alternate blocks Just thought your quilter would want to know, Linda Esenbock

chickenscratch
I will call her in the morning and ask her about it. I still have no idea how to quilt them.
delld
I think Lavish by Hemione Agee would be great on the pink and brown. You can get it from Urban Elementz. The blue one you could do terry twist and double the twist in the big blocks and do bead board on the outer border. That would be quick and fun to do! Good Luck!!! witha'K'quilting
i agree with dell on the TT's. they go rather quickly and add lots of texture. that would look great on the blue quilt.

What about the large squares. They are 9 inch squares. It's a queen size quilt.
LFQuilts
If she were paying for it, I would do something feathery in the large blocks - either straight or curved cross hatching. If she isn't paying, then a quick meander in the larger blocks. Good luck. Lynn
chickenscratch
I feel like feather wreaths would be great in the big blocks, also; but she is not paying for anything other than edge to edge. : (
witha'K'quilting
break the large 9 inch square into 4 smaller squares. just envision them having seam lines! in this post near the bottom picture, the butterfly block, you might be able to see what i am talking about. http://forum.apqs.com/index.php?/topic/31739-terry-twists-as-an-overall/
delld
Teresa, you could divide the large block into a nine patch just like the other blocks. You could use your ruler to draw the lines using the nines patches on all side. No measuring and fast to do!
chickenscratch
contacted the customer. She most definitely did not mean to do the block the wrong way. She asked me if I could fix it, but I told her I don't have the proper piece to put in it. So, its going back to her for repairs. Thanks to whoever caught it. I didn't see it until I took the pictures. It's very hard to locate in the actual quilt.
