Busy Quilting
I wanted a small extended base to do some circle work on quilt. I have a 15" x 18" that was too big for this project. So I made one out of the matting board that goes behind tapestries,or embroideries when you frame them. Took off the needle plate, traced it on the board, cut the board with a sharp knife, smoothed the edges by rubbing them against the edge of my cutting mat. Then I have just Duct Taped it to my machine. It is only 4 1/2" x 7" so will be perfect for the 2 1/2" circle I want to stitch around.
