Equipment swap

Hopefully this is not a no-no, but I looked through the archives to see if there were any swaps in the past. Sometimes we have a template we don't like, or a panto that is just not ever going to be used, thread that is just an ick color or something like that. I know I have some things that I had from my last machine that won't ever be used because I did not like them then and I don't like them now. I was just wondering if we could have a once a year online swap or is that too ridiculous to even consider. I am trying to think of something to take my mind off the fact that the police called my husband's office today and informed us that our housekeeper, who has been in our house without us home many many many times and cleans his office has been selling identities to persons in California. So I just got through calling Equifax and putting an alert on our credit, calling all the companies that I thought were spamming me, and in fact thought I was one of their customers. Sigh. Why do people feel they need to do this. I trusted her. They were in my HOME. I paid her well. Another sigh. Am I just too trusting? I believe in the goodness of people. To have this happen feels like a slug in the stomach. Ok. I'm done. Back to the swap idea.

So sorry about your problems. Seems like it gets harder to trust people all the time. And the nicer a person is, the more betrayed they feel--because they couldn't even fathom doing something so deceitful. Off my soapbox now!

About swapping or selling tools and/or supplies--go to Gadgets and Goodies or the Machines for Sale and post there. There was a thread quite a while ago about treating that topic like a "classifieds section" and most chatters felt that was OK. If you prefer, post what you have and ask for U2U or email contact so you keep the wheeling and dealing off the chat. Right now there are Hartley fences, stencils, and machines for sale. There was a recent swap of micro drives also. Jump in!!
