Terri C.
Can you tell me what size screws are used in the back handles? I would like to get one that is a little longer, when I attached a ground wire to my handle it seems the screw isn't long enough now to keep the handle from coming loose. Just want to make sure I get the same thread cut as what is in it now. Thanks Terri
barbm
Terri, I don't know the actual size of the screw, but you have a couple of options: take the shorter screw with you to the hardware store and have them match it, or take a longer screw from the back hood (save the white plastic spacer) to use on the handle. That should work while you wait for a replacement screw. Just make sure to get aluminum screws: the body of your head is aluminum and you need to use aluminum screws so that you don't strip out the threads in the screw holes. You can also call APQS tomorrow morning and get the actual screw size.
Terri C.
Thanks for the response Barb. Glad you mentioned aluminum screws wouldn't even have thought about that.
