They did have to take the whole kidney which meant a much shorter surgery. I am on the lowest dose pain meds which I attribute to my great prayer warrior friends. We will get the biopsy in 2 weeks when I get the staples out. I spent part of my evening on my deck watching the sun set. Thanks for your prayers. I just spent the night finding out my system didn't wakeup on it's own. Why dose this stuff have to taste so bad. And who said I needed reminded what labor pains were like. I, too, had surgery recently, and ended up going in for an ultrasound to check for a blockage. I didn't, but the stuff they gave me made me think it would have maybe been more pleasant.
