Recommended Posts

$.50 at garage sale, partial can Rustoleum Oil bronzed spray paint = new thread holder that will hold 50 large spools of thread.

Happy Quilter = priceless     :D

No idea what the original use for this was, but I plan to mount it on the wall. Will post a pic later when I have it filled.

Now that is a decorative find.  When you find out what its original purpose was it will cost a lot more to find it some partners.

I am sure I would have passed right over that! Some just have the vision!! Pleas let us know if you ever figure out what it was originally designed for....

That is a terrific job.   My threads are on shelves, and solid back boards with pegs, and

some on racks he built onto the alcove wall.

I am hanging out here at home, until he wil remove the shelves and the built in parts of

peg holders.. and do up one whole back wall.. that will be such a boon.  I also have

a better spaced and lighter weight peg set up, that allows for the spools that don't quite

set anywhere else.. The piecing and sewing threads, etc.

Too many things, too many places.. too needed to do without.. but will give more room, even

an inch or two counts and helps.
