Joma
haven't finished a chevron quilt yet, but I think the zigzag quilt is almost the same for quilting, did two zigzag quilts the same way one quilted the colors and outlining the background, the other I quilted the background and outlined the colors succes quilting Jo

cathyh
Kathy, I always love your quilting and enjoy your blog also! Jo, I think your zigzag qualifies, at least that is what I call a chevron, am I wrong? I love your quilting, too!! Bonnie, can't wait to see yours! This is a great pattern, now my queue, how will I ever get to them all!
RitaR
Kathy, I am blown over by all the interrupted spirals against the colored pieces. Did you do all the sneak along work free hand or did you use a ruler guide. In any case, I'd not do as pretty a job, by using spirals to fit with no creeping to the next spot. Terrific Job, young lady.. Rita

Terrific Job, young lady.. Rita All free hand Rita. I had just taken Angela Walters class on Craftsy so that was my first try at her swirl design. I think I was very determined to get it right! Jo I really like your quilting on your Zigzag quilts. That is the kind of light custom work I enjoying doing the most.

Joma
thanks everyone for the nice comments, I also like the light custom work, but for the rainbowquilt all effect of a light custom is gone, using a different color for each row, a pastel for the colors, an associated sunburst superior thread for the white rows must say, it is a nice effect

Quilting Grammy
I did one and SID the cheverons and pebbled the strips. It was more of a braid though.
