Kathy,  I am blown over by all the interrupted spirals against the colored pieces. 

 

Did you do all the sneak along work free hand or did you use a ruler guide.

 

In any case, I'd not do as pretty a job, by using spirals to fit with no creeping to the next spot.

 All free hand Rita.  I had just taken Angela Walters class on Craftsy so that was my first try at her swirl design.  I think I was very determined to get it right! :)

 

Jo I really like your quilting on your Zigzag quilts. That is the kind of light custom work I enjoying doing the most.

thanks everyone for the nice comments,

 

I also like the light custom work, but for the rainbowquilt all effect of a light  custom is gone, using a different color for each row,

  • a pastel for the colors,
  • an associated sunburst superior thread for the white rows

must say, it is a nice effect
