chrisquilter Posted September 27, 2013 Report Share Posted September 27, 2013 This is a huge customer quilt. I was not happy with the swirls in feather blocks so I switched to a ribbon swirl. So much better. Sorry for the weird color in the photos. I need better lighting! LOL. I broke up the cc's with a small swirl in the center chain to tie the shape back to the feather blocks. So fine thread and wool batting. I ordered new thread from Superior and it is not scheduled for delivery until Wednesday of this week. That is 7 days! I'm a little disappointed in the shipping from Superior if you have a vendors license. The least expensive option was 14.26 by UPS. Expensive and a long shipping time. Sigh. I borrowed some thread from another longarmer in the area and with some luck, I will have it off the frame tomorrow. This rascal is huge. I'll try to post a picture of a large section for you.
