Unfortunately, she loves Hobbs Request batting. It would have been so much prettier (in my humble opinion) with a batting with a little loft. And I agree with you, it would be even more striking if the batting had more loft to it, but you definitely added a beautiful touch to a pretty quilt. I'm sure your customer will love it! LOL I know LIbby, This is my way of avoiding the dreaded stitch in the ditch! Actually, it looks really good on log cabin quilts too! It is a easy way to give a light custom look.
