Hanging Gardens

I think this is the name of this pattern.  My customer used beautiful Japanese prints.  Unfortunately, she loves  Hobbs Request batting.  It would have been so much prettier (in my humble opinion) with a batting with a little loft.  Seems like a lot of work for little pizzazz..Unfortunately, many of my customers really like the flat look, Sigh, I am going to start stocking wool batting and see if I can win some over to the fluffy side!  :D <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/24406665@N03/10708822153/" title="DSCN1895 by chrisquilt00, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7299/10708822153_3bdd273a7a.jpg" width="375" height="500" alt="DSCN1895"></a> You have to move forward and back in flicker to see the photos because the whole quilt picture is in the middle :huh:

I love the little squiggly lines.  It's a lot easier than using a ruler and looks much nicer.

LOL  I know LIbby,  This is my way of avoiding the dreaded stitch in the ditch!  Actually, it looks really good on log cabin quilts too!  It is a easy way to give a light custom look.  Add an easy longarm feather in the light colors of the log cabin  and off you go.
