LibbyG
When I originally asked for help quilting Storm at Sea, there were so many pretty designs. I shared them with my friend and she loved the one Vicki found. I printed the picture and loaded my quilt. After staring at it for five full minutes, I realized it wasn't the same pattern. That's when panic set in. However, after talking to some of the members, I was able to finish this quilt. I used So Fine on top and BL. Lynne in Iowa
Not custom, but I did big all over swirls on mine. It complimented the movement already in a storm at sea.

Colette
Vicki, I saw that beautiful quilt at Paducah last year. Sheri Schoenebeck won a yellow. The color selections are outstanding, and quilting is gorgeous. This quilt was done by Rose, a member of my guild. I like the variety of quilting that adds to the movement of this quilt. http://cvqgvt.org/QuiltShow2012/2012%20show/Blue_Ribbons/BlueRibbonWinnersCVQG2012/l517roseo.html

LibbyG
I should clarify my statement. I did find tons of them, but not many with quilting on them. I need to see the way they are quilted to get the design. And there's sure some beautiful ones.

LibbyG
Sylvia, I started on the ends, went to the center and worked out. I would do all the same block at one time in an entire section. So those straight lines were all done at the same time. I would do the top and bottom ones and the side ones. Once they were done, it was easy to see what was left. I would do all the pebbling, then the feather wreaths and blocks around them. The last thing I did was the feather sashing. This quilt was so busy, it really was hard to see the pattern and that was the only way I could keep it straight. Thanks for the nice comments.
