lisata.
I found that wonderful very soft bed linen in summer and decided "just" to quilt the pattern in the fabric with a very soft poly batting I think it turned out great ! regards Lisa

Merryjo2003
I like how this turned out. Looks nice! Believe it or not, I had a customer bring me a comforter to quilt. Wanted the long lines of stitching removed, then quilted. I did the opposite, outlined the flowers and filled the background. I thought it was a lot of money for someone to spend on a comforter. I guess she must have really liked it to have a redo like that.
gardenslug
Lisa, Thanks for sharing. Am making a comforter and was wondering how I was going to quilt it. Do not mind copying your idea at all. Just love what you have done with that fabric. Your quilting makes it outstanding. Marilyn

lisata.
wow, thanks ! why do I bother piecing ? no seriously, I really love the way it turned out and the best thing is, since it was a big cover I have the other side left, I cut off the seams to have two pieces and I have another one in dark blue, Bassetti makes the most wonderful stuff !
