light tube

Recommended Posts

Hi All

This is a puzzle for me and I am hoping someone may be able to help.

The light on my Millie quit suddenly a few days ago.

Here is what i did. Changed the bulb. Checked the brackets that hold the bulb. Changed the fluorescent starter.

Checked the wiring inside the front panel. No power to the wire going to the switch.  Now I don't know what to do as it seems I can't get access to the wiring inside the body of the machine.

I also talked to APQS.

Anyone ever have this happen, and if so, did you solve the problem?

Thanks to anyone who can shed some light on this problem:)

Sylvia,

Have you checked the fluorescent starter for the light? There is also an "on-off" switch for the light on the side of the machine. It looks like a black knob, and when you rotate it clockwise it turns the light on and off. If that doesn't have a definite "click" to it, there could be something wrong with the switch itself.
