I finally got this one finished so I could leave to visit my children and grandchildren for Christmas!  I mailed this to my customer who just loved it….

So Fine off white in the background, Glide gold in the borders and a green variegated Isaccord for the leaves and details…. I hope I remember how to post a picture...

Vicki, your quilting is fabulous!  The quilt is positively gorgeous!

I fell in love with this quilt and am making it, but have only 3 blocks fused and haven't taken a stitch yet.  I had a goal this year to get the 12 blocks stitched but that did not happen.  I haven't decided yet if it will be on my 'to do' list for next year, but seeing your work has inspired me!

Wishing you safe travel and a very merry Christmas.

Thanks everyone, I am just now unclenching my hands from all the pebbling…:)  I have quilted many appliqué quilts for this special customer and my challenge is to try to do each quilt differently, keeping in mind that she does not like heavy quilting and I have already crosshatched several quilts for her…she is a delight to quilt for, her appliqué is superb and her piecing is perfect!  Lucky me to have her for a customer and friend!

Sharon, I am going to hold you to that….have you been to Happiness is Quilting in McKinney?  I just found out about it and am anxious to get up there when I get back in town!  I think we should meet somewhere and then have lunch there too!  :)

Oh yes, ma'am!!! And I am ready to go back. I think it is just your kind of place. Lots of repros and gorgeous Dutch chintz. And I mean gorgeous!!! I am all about it. :0) Give me a shout when you get back and then we will definitely plan. There is a new one somewhere near there, too, that I haven't been to.  :0D I can't wait!!!   Merry Christmas!!
