dancingstitcher
Cool idea with the T-shirts, jackets, laundry bags, pillowcases, and embroidery. How about this show stopping vest? The back has a purchased Peru pieced block with all these colors of the front of Patty's vest. This is a Rachel Clark vest pattern and a real favorite with Patty. No missing this quilting garment. She is standing in front of the quilt-as-you-go project she did with a large class of about 30 women who each had a different color palette. My gift to her was the four embroidered sunflowers as corner blocks of the first section she constructed. She also added Japanese Shasiko hand stitching and folded fabric flowers of all kinds. She has a wonderful flair in her quilting, don't you think? Vicki
Patch
Absolutely gorgeous! Very vibrant color choices. She certainly does have a flair. Thanks for sharing it, Vicki! Be great to see close-up of your embroidery, but I can tell from here it's a fabulous addition to this already-fabulous quilt. What a wonderful gift from you.
