LibbyG
I wanted to practice big feathers, so I made these two charity quilts. In the brown and pink one, I couldn't resist the smaller feathers inside the quilt. I actually prefer making them. I used So Fine and BL in both quilts. Meeting with forum friends is so exciting. At Paducah last year I was fortunate to meet Judy Ingram, me, Carmen, my friends Edie and Carolyn. Finally who can resist a picture with Eleanor. LibbyG
Thank you for all the wonderful comments. Seeing Eleanor Burns was such a hoot! She's a shrewd lady. I had a coupon so I bought a kit for THE FIRST LADIES book. She does one pattern with sampler blocks. You don't need her rulers to make them, but almost every block uses a new ruler. Then she uses the Go dies. (She gives you the paper copies, too.) The GO die for this one costs $80. You could leave her store with a significant dent in your wallet. If you go to Paducah, catch her show. She's a very gracious lady, and the show is soooo funny!
