kimjohny
I broke the screw head off of the smallest screw (at the top of pic) on the backside of the hook assembly. Yes, the one Amy talks about in her tutorial. I have no idea how to get this off of the hook assembly. Half of the screw head is still there but I don't want to push my luck. As if I haven't already! At least I'm not in a puddle of tears, a huge improvement. When will I stop making more problems for myself and MIllie?
barbm
Kim, this is definitely the time to call APQS!! And send them an email, as well. Good luck - that's one I haven't run into before.
shirleyl
Don't feel like the Lone Ranger, I did the same thing, luckily I had my timing set right and Dave scheduled for a spa treatment. I was prepared to take it to a machine shop to get it removed. I'm sure Amy has a solution. Shirley
kimjohny
I already left a message for Amy and am waiting for her to call me back. Panic hasn't set in yet.
kimjohny
I had her serviced last year. Not happy with the thought of having to take her off the frame although I know that's a possibility. I figure if it can be put in it can be taken out. kimjohny
Spoke with Amy earlier today. I am to use a spring loaded center punch and use it to push against the screw counter clock-wise. Start with a couple of little taps and I should eventually be able to loosen it up enough to use my fingers to loosen the rest. She also said to not worry about it until I need to change the hook assembly. Thanks to Amy for returning my call! And to all of you that have helped me and keep helping me out.
