This is a very nicely done little Americana Quilt I just finished and my customer loved it!  Nothing fancy but used Clear Monopoly to SID and outline all appliqué, So Fine on top in an off white, and tan, and forest green, and fil tec bobbins in off white and black...

Thanks everyone!  You all are so kind!  I love how pebbling looks but find that it is cramping may hands up and have to take lots of breaks and have started wearing one of those gloves…also, I am trying to make the pebbles a little bigger…but then they have be the right size next to the appliqué.  I think I need to use some other backgrounds next time.  :)

Hi Cathy,

I just chalked a circle (small circle ruler)  in the center of each square using crosshairs to make sure it was centered, then free handed those wreaths trying to fill up each square - truth be known, I was trying to fill them up so I wouldn't have to do another background fill around those too so I echoed around them..and then filled the centers with pebbles to echo the appliqué blocks.  Somewhere I read to try to stick to 2-3 quilt designs per quilt so that it all ties in together.
