ffq-lar Posted February 6, 2014 Report Share Posted February 6, 2014 Here's a cute 50" square quilt just finished. This is her fifth quilt and she improves with each one--and she's hooked on piecing! The quilting was simple--a running leaf border with a leaf curl in each border triangle, CC's, scrolls in the white where the stitching shows best, and leaves on the purple diamonds to draw attention to the stars. Lilac, white, and aqua So Fine thread and poly batting. Starting with her first quilt, she's had me stitch a heart with a letter "C" (her initial) somewhere in the border so the recipient knows it was made with love. She was very happy.
