marrad
I have been reading about different machines on the internet. The WOW machine is reasonalby priced. Has anyone bought one or have any advice about it. It is a modified Singer. thanks
mrmquilt
I had a stretched white rotary machine, it worked but was a pain. Save you money and invest in a used PRO machine or one of the other home machines that are industrial machines stretched. I know 2 or 3 people locally that have WOW quilters and can't get them to work. Michele
quiltingnanny
I had a Wow machine for several years. It served me well, except for a lot of tension problems. It seemed to be real 'touchy'. If all you want to do is a meander, that will work for you. No stitch regulator or any other bells and whistles. I wish I had waited and spent that money on a better longarm. I now have a good machine. So having rambled on, my sugestion is to go big and be done. You'll be much happier !! Glenda
mrmquilt
Marrad, I don't know where you live but there is an ultimate II for sale that was recently posted. That is what I have and LOVE it. I would highly recommend looking into something like this. The price is comparable to the WOW and you will have an AWESOME machine!!!
