Plan to spend about an hour just looking at the fabric, then going back to see what your want to buy! It is right downtown I think. Dawn can tell you. A few years ago I took my George down to Carroll for a fix and there were a couple yarn and fabric shops close to the shop. I don't know if they both are still there now. RunningThreads Posted April 3, 2014 Report Share Posted April 3, 2014 Bonnie We stayed at Swan Lake State Park http://www.mycountyparks.com/county/Carroll/Park/Swan-Lake-State-Park.aspx when we were in Carroll a few years ago. It was early June when we were there and it was pretty quiet and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. It is only 10 or 15 minutes to the factory and was quite inexpensive maybe $16 per night.
