JeannieB
i have created a panto that has 16 rows. Ive stitched through 9 rows. Now i want to stop and turn off QP and resume tomorrow. So, i hit the save icon, name the file and properly shut down. Today, when i open the saved file, i only have one row. 8-( i know its my process because this is the 3rd time on different quilts this has happened. Thanks for your help. :-)
Georgene
JeannieB, I learned this the hard way too. When you save the pattern, the entire quilt must be displayed on the screen. If only a row is displayed, that is what will be saved. AND, if you've already saved your entire quilt and then choose to save again, it will overwrite the quilt with the one row. Lynne in Iowa
Save the quilt when you create the pattern before you start stitching. Remember which row you stopped on odd or even. Now if I could just figure out how to make sure they line up right when I start up again.
ThreadWaggle
Lynne, Do the alignment mark for the next row when it finishes the last row you want to do that day. Then you use it to align when you go back in and chose the row for it to start on. I just painters tape, needle down through it and just leave it on the quilt until I go back downstairs to quilt.
