ronwiny
A friend is upgrading her machine and the price she paid includes a new copy of Art and Stitch Base. She already has it and uses it a lot. She would like to sell the new (not yet registered) one.
griffith1234
I am very interested in purchasing your friend's A&S Base. I need to know is the software box unopened, and does it include the User's Manual that comes with it? Is it Version 3? Please respond to me through my personal email at griffith1234@msn.com. Thank you, Linda Griffith, Tempe, AZ
LindaSteller
Be very careful. I do not think this software is re-sellable. I had a friend who did not use hers and was going to buy it, but the license was not transferable. I think the license is recorded at the time of sale, not when you register it. griffith1234
Oh, wow. I never would have thought about that. Thank you for that tip, Linda!!
loraquilts
Is there any way to verify whether new (unregistered) software can be sold to someone else. I saw someone in my area who recently purchased a Pro-Stitcher (honestly don't even know what that is), and it came with AnS. She won't be using it and says she hasn't registered it, so put it up for sale. Is there any way to verify whether the software has been registered when she got her Pro-Stitcher or not? Sue E.
I believe it can be transferred. You might want to contact Loes & Theo van der Heijden at info@artistich.com
loraquilts
Thanks Sue, I'll send them an email. I'd feel more comfortable buying the software if I knew I could register it in my name for my computers.
