Barbara Conquest
We'll be in England from Saturday (May 13) until mid-June. The last time we were there we found very few quilt shops, mainly because we didn't know where to look! We found one in Oban (Scotland) and the National Quilt Museum in York, but that was about it. Through a contact here, we know there is one called Quilter's Haven in Wickham Market, near Ipswich. There must be more. We'll be spending time around Canterbury, Stevenage and York and points between. We'll be driving, so access won't be a problem (except for the driver!). It would also be nice to meet any longarmers who have half an hour for coffee and to compare notes. Any takers? We'll be on-line every day, and would welcome all information about the above. We won't be in Scotland this time, unfortunately, so can't revisit the Oban shop. Thanks for any information you can give me. (My husband may not be so grateful!) Barbara Conquest
Thanks so much, Linda and Sue, for the information, even if I didn't post my inquiry where I should have. All the websites look very promising -- I'll soon know! Barbara
