Freddie's studio space

Recommended Posts

Mark from APQS spent Tuesday afternoon putting together Freddie for me. It fits just right in our family room. So far we've been having a blast doodling away on the practice muslin. I also discovered that my two dogs, cairn terriers, have no problems whatsoever with the sound. They came in and settled down on the floor nearby and relaxed. Yay! I was afraid that it would be like the vacuum cleaner all over again. They don't stop barking until the vacuuming is all put away in the closet. That would have been unfortunate. Right now I'm not going to put anything extra in the room until we see how it works. My husband is thinking that he'd like a comfy chair in the empty side of the fireplace so that he can be in the room while I'm working away.

My husband has even taken a turn or two doodling away. I think he had fun too.  ;)

Thank you Mark for flying out and putting together Freddie. It was good meeting you. Hope the airline found your tool box.

Congratulations,  and that space looks wonderful for quilting, and plenty of great natural light.

Remember. ppp and ppp and ppp,  relaxed, loose finger tip hold on the handles,  body relaxed, and breathe..  (that always helps.  lol)

Oh yes, don't forget to turn the machine on, and press the go button.  ROFL I'm so bad!\

Enjoy, and let the family in on it..   oh, btw I used about 4 yards of fabric  to doodle when I first started.  I doodles Lots! :D
