Yes, I finally pieced a top, and now I will be quilting it....any suggestions??? ( I do have two other quilts completed very recently on my blog, if interested!) If you enjoy modern quilting, I'd suggest you stitch "shadow" chevrons behind the figure, matching the dimensions of the chevrons in the piecing and covering the body of the quilt up to the top. Detail stitch the baby geisha. Then maybe stitch the flowers that I see in the baby geisha fabric in either red or white thread in the cute polka-dot border. If the chevrons need more stitching, you can stitch a line on either side of the first line, but a quarter inch away so you have a triple line and fill more space. Have fun--great quilt!
