maggienoella
I'm using the Superior thread, no opportunity to try another as this quilt was supposed to be done last week. I'm going slow and it keeps breaking. As far as the thread path, it is ok and there is no resistance until I get to the tension disc. I thought it was fine because it doesn't curl but I stitch an inch or so (SID) and then it breaks. I've done all I know to do on this one, any ideas? I SID'd two blocks without a problem and now this. I've loosened the top tension about half a turn but I know that doesn't help as far as a reference point. Thanks, Joan
maggienoella
Cancel cancel. I think I got it. Loosened it a bit more & lengthened the stitch a bit. Joan
RitaR
It sounds like you did it! If it keeps breaking, loosen the top tension a bit more. Good Luck..
