Hi,  I finished this Star Quilt last week for a customer.  I did freehand quilting on the interior of the quilt and used a QZ board for the Ribbon Candy in the black border and my CL Bead Board for the gold outer border.  I used Glide thread in Sand for the everything except the black border, where I used black thread.  I didn't change bobbin colors when I switched to the black but now I wish I had.  I can see black threads on the gold backing.

I have to agree with everyone here, and say it looks absolutely gorgeous.  If you had not said anything about the black thread, I for one would not have noticed at all in the pictures.  Thank you for sharing, and inspiring.
