K. Szymaszek
I was thankfully practicing a design before starting on a quilt today and when i went to put needle down she kept on going up and down. I hit all the buttons but would not stop unless I impressed the black button and then yellow button. It also will not stop in the down position. It also acts the same way from the back. I am guessing it is not the needle up down adjustment as it wont shut off unless I impress the black button and yellow button. Any suggestions? jimerickson
K: I don't know about the Millie's or any other APQS regulated machine for that matter, but I have an Intellistitch fitted Gammill Clasic that will do about the same thing once in a while. The only way I can stop it is to power the machine down. Turn it back on an it works properly. Kasa engineering thinks it's a switch problem. I've replaced the switch but it does recur occasionally. Not much help, huh? Well I guess I'm trying to say maybe replacing the single stitch switch will correct the problem. Good luck. Jim
K. Szymaszek
Thanks Jim, I was hoping it would do just that after a while. Alas, when I tried her again she did the same thing. I will try again tomorrow. Funny but she was perfectly fine when I used her last on Thurs. Thanks for your input, I appreciate it. K
Merryjo2003
Look in your manual for the needle up/down adjustment. It's easy to adjust. All you have to do is take off the cowling and turn the screw. I can't remember the number exactly, but I think it's the number 7 or 8. It will tell you in the manual. Just takes a minute to do. K. Szymaszek
Thanks Merry Jo. I did try the adjustment but to no avail. Unfortunately there's something else going on. K
