ffq-lar
I just finished something for myself!! Yay! It's a panel that's been hanging in my studio for several years and I finally found time to quilt it. It's Nancy Halvorsen's Christmas Alphabet. Just needs some binding and a place to hang. I outlined everything with BottomLine gold, used matching thread to stitch the fillers, and had a ball! Wool batting makes a huge difference. Here's the link---arrow right for detail shots and thanks for looking! https://www.flickr.com/photos/larech/15728531216/

apylinski
Beautiful Linda. So glad you got something done just for you! And may I ask how you outline appliqué so well? I can't quite get it.
ffq-lar
Beautiful Linda. So glad you got something done just for you! And may I ask how you outline appliqué so well? I can't quite get it. Thanks for the comment, but this has no piecing or applique. It's a panel and while it may look like nice outlining, there are some oopsies! Plus the side borders are not the same width--done when the panel was cut off the bolt. That will be corrected when I get the binding done---hopefully before Christmas!
