ncutt
Ok, so how shoud I fix this? Or how should I start? I can do it, I can do it, I can do it!! Thanks!
John Mitchell
Could you be more specific. Is it dragging side to side or front to back? Side to side could be a bolt on the table loose. With a little more information we can probably isolate your issue. John
ncutt
Mainly it is side to side but just on the left side and towards top of the part I am quilting. Sometimes I wish I were an engineer! Thanks!
ffq-lar
Hi Norma-- I had the same problem in the same spot. My table was not level because of settling on the carpet. Re-level across the left edge front-to-back, the center, and then from side-to-side. It was a quick fix and I hope it works for you! LynnQuilts
Check the bolts on the bottomside of the adjustable wheels, make sure they haven't come loose. I've had mine come loose once, and it acted like that.

John Mitchell
Check the clearance between the leveling bar and the machine base. Also do you have the base expander installed? John
ncutt
Haven't had a chance to check yet. And, yes, John, I do have a base expander.
ncutt
Dear John: PS: How high should the leveling bar be? Thanks!
John Mitchell
Checking from the back slide your finger between the machine and the bar it should go in up to your first knuckle. The base expander might be dragging. John

John Mitchell
This subject has been posted in the past. This might help with suggestions. Click on search on blue bar and type in machine dragging, millie dragging, etc. Past posts are of great help. John

ncutt
Ok! I DID IT!!!!! Raised my back legs, they were off by about 1/2 inch! Raised my level bar. Still might need to raise it a little more. I WAS SO PROUD OF MYSELF!!! Then...... after a couple of fleece blankies, my top thread would not pick up my bobbing thread. So I am back to SEARCH some past posts. I did it! I did it! I did it! Still need to put on my Circle Lord, though!
TishMarshall
I too have the same challenge in one spot............so I'm gonna have to double check the table..........hummmm. Tish Hi Norma-- I had the same problem in the same spot. My table was not level because of settling on the carpet. Re-level across the left edge front-to-back, the center, and then from side-to-side. ncutt
Just one more question? When you measure from bar to bar for the 23 3/4 inches down the table, how can you get an accurate measurement since the bars are round. Do you use a fabric tape?
