Mary Kay
Have a 2010 Millie turned machine on tonight to work on customers quilt pushed the needle up/down button so I could pull up bobbin thread and the needle bar just kept going up and down I couldn't stop it until I unpluged it called apps but missed them by 15 min. Can anyone out there help me
Sue E.
There is a #8 screw that you can adjust. I have an older Millie but I believe your manual should show you where it is. I think most of been where you are. Don't panic, it can be fixed easily!

barbm
The adjustment for the Needle Up/Down speed, commonly known here as the #8 screw, is at the back of your machine, on the "non-thread" side of your machine (NOT the side you load a cone of thread on). You want to SLOW that up/down speed, so that the sensor in your machine has a chance to realize that the needle is actually up. That little gold screw needs BIG turns to have any effect. Cagey
I am not sure what machine you have but one of these two videos will probably fix your issue. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DQXtnehc2i4 Fluorescent Bulb Machines https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6tb0kLasBC8 LED Bulb Machines Cagey
