It's amazing that I've been researching Whole Cloth Quilts today.  I thought I might do a Whole Cloth Wall Hanging as my first one but after seeing this I don't think I'm anywhere near ready.  This quilt is beyond words for me.  WoW

Laurie you are amazing, I adore everything that you do.  :)  This is incredible - and I'm curious too!  Do you design the flowers and elements all yourself or do you draw inspiration from somewhere?  :)

How do you even begin a whole cloth?   Do you choose one already printed on fabric or do you design from the git go.   Start in the center and work out?   I really want to do one of those someday, but imagine it would be a good idea to start on something small.    I would love to hear the process some of you use to get started.
