Laura Farnham
Wow, beautiful. Love the dyed fabric but your quilting did make everything pop. I have never quilted with Quilter Dream batting, will have to try it out. I think I would like the loft. Not hard to quilt with extra puffiness? Have you ever used the poly with 80/20 on bottom? Hi Diane,... I often use a double Batting when doing Custom work,.... I usually use a thin layer on the bottom and the higher loft on top to really enhance the stitching,.... Never had a problem with loft,.... my favorite Double Batting Combo is Cotton Select on the bottom,.. Dream Wool on top!!! It just carves the design in! Play around with differant lofts and see what works best for you,....

whitepinesquilter
Laura, this is just lovely! I love how you quilted with matching colors and how that took this beauty to a whole new level. And I'm really becoming more convinced that grays are very suitable for many backings, I would never have considered it to work so well with this green. So darn pretty!
