Since I only quilt for myself I've never had those types of quilts to work on. shezzz. Yesterday I was looking at 3 old hand sewed quilt tops that my mother bought from a 90 year old lady. I had told her I would quilt them for her...got them home and spread them out....oh my goodness...they are definetly utility quilts....on one the seams don't match. I mean they are way way off....the other two are not too bad. But this little 90 year old lady made her extra money by making quilt tops and my mother just couldn't let it go without buying several.
