ffq-lar
This big (114" square) wedding quilt was just picked up. This is the third quilt of this pattern brought to me by the same customer. The border was the biggest challenge. It was 12 1/2" and I filled it by stitching big curls with a wide echo. Then 3/4" apart piano keys inside and outside. I couldn't get a good picture of the whole thing since it dragged on the floor! Here's a link to Flickr and arrow right for a detail shot. Thread was Metro blue, BottomLine silver and BL pre-wound bobbins. Batting was Hobbs Heirloom wool that I talked about a while ago. It was so compressed in the package that the center was felted and stiff. Luckily I had to trim the 120" a bit so it would fit and a lot of the felted part was removed. Thanks for looking! https://www.flickr.com/photos/larech/16819682187/
