mlsa3
Still gotta put the binding on. Just finished this Dulcimer Wall Hanging for a donation for the Lone Star Dulcimer Festival next month that I'll be attending. Learned a lot as usual about what to do differently next time and what not to do next time. I tried to just have fun with it. I love crosshatching so I crosshatched the black border, used curved crosshatching (never done curved crosshatching before) for the square blocks, diamonds for the sashing, micro stitiching around the lettering in the center block. It's a bit wrinkled...haven't had a chance to press it yet. Will do that after the binding. David
Luz2Quilt
Great work on your cross hatching! I'm glad that you are playing and experimenting. Being a newbie myself, It's empowering to play and experiment!

mlsa3
Pepsi Girl Yes, my wife and I both play. We've belonged to the North Harris County Dulcimer Society for going on 26 years. I'm now president for the 5th time and will give up that position next month thank goodness. LOL. I played autoharp for all of those years and never wanted to play dulcimer until about 3 years ago when I decided suddenly that I wanted to learn to play. I also used to make all of my instruments and had quite a good part time business building custom autoharps and dulcimers. Then health problems with feet told me to change hobbies.
