chickenscratch
My new sewing machine finally arrived. I swear I've been going through withdrawal for a week. It is a cadillac among machines. Needle threader, thread cutter, knee lift, built in monogramming, 21 quilting stitches, 38 decorative stitches, free motion quilting and embroidery stitches, and 15 buttonholes (I have no idea why). Also came with a huge quilting base, which will not fit on my table. I guess i need a new table now.

chickenscratch
Oh good Heidi, you can help me figure out the confusing parts. So far I have done zig zag, applique stitch, and 1/4" quilting straight stitch. I love that feature. Oh, the thread cutter and automatic backstitch are wonderful. Cagey
Congratulations on your new toy. Hopefully it will allow you to forget about your trials and tribulations as of late. Have fun learning how to use your new baby. Cagey
gardenslug
Aren't new toys fun. Have had my Bernina 1630 for 20 years and it does many things - but Teresa you are whetting my interest. A friend's daughter who is a designer for clothing just bought herself a new Juki and loves it. Enjoy your new toy. Love seeing the quilts and items you post.
