Traditional quilt with a modern flair

Recommended Posts

This one was a biggie  83 x 104 and I was pretty intimidated at first.

Thankfully she came to me because she wanted more a modern style than traditional, so I took a deep breath and started.

There are more photos on my blog...just wanted to share.

I'm pretty proud of how much I have learned and progressed!  post-11183-0-65182200-1431633290_thumb.pngpost-11183-0-10553000-1431633149_thumb.jpgpost-11183-0-38177400-1431633144_thumb.jpg

Looks great!  I particularly like how you quilted the outer border.  I would never have thought to do it that way, and I love it!!

Beautiful Andrea!  I love your style of quilting.  It's amazing how you can make straight lines look so appealing.  I'm sure it wasn't easy but it's very stunning.
