Compatibility question about QuiltPath

If I purchased a used QuiltPath system that was originally on a Millennium, would it work for a new Lenni? Would I have to do any modifications?

Thank you

I don't know the answer to your questions, but since no one else has responded, I'll give you my thoughts.

I think the FREE updates for life only go with the original purchaser of QP, so you may have to pay for those future updates.

Lenni is shorter than a Millie, don't know what size tables we're talking about, but the belts that drive QP run from front to back of machine carriage, and from left to right across the support rails of the table.  So some adjustments may need to be made there.

Then you'd have to install the Surface Pro Tablet.  That may be easy or it might need some holes drilled in the machine head.

Maybe someone else will chime in and add some wisdom to my thoughts.

Contact Dave Jones as to whether the QP will work on your Lenni. I understand the belts will be no problem as they are adjustable. The QuitPath carriage is another story - you might have to contact APQS as to that issue. Here is the other information I was given when I was trying to sell my QuiltPath (this was posted in my "For Sale" post ...

Here are particulars as I understand them - I think this is a really fair policy on used hardware and software… Grace Company says the software is transferable when you re-register it. All new updates to fix bugs are free. However, if the Grace Company comes out with some new/great/wonderful features and they make it an "upgrade", this unit can only be upgraded on a fee basis - price to be determined by Grace (this is similar to what IntelliQuilter does as has been posted in their Yahoo chat group.) There is no warranty on the system through APQS, just like all other transferable sales of their machines - the original warranty was for 1 year. APQS will give as much support and technical assistance free of charge over the phone as needed. If parts are needed, APQS will be able to sell them to the new owner. The above is in alignment with all APQS policies and transfers.

Hope this helps answer some of your questions.

Thank you both very much for replying. I am only getting a 10' blissed table and didn't know if QuiltPath would use up any of that space, if that makes sense.

I will keep thinking about it! :)
