chrisquilter
Does anyone know if the Mono Poly Bobbins work in the APQS machines. They are a hard plastic bobbin and are an "L". size. Thanks!
BethDurand
Personally, I'd stick with the aluminum or metal ones from APQS. I recently did a service call on a machine, all kinds of tension issues. When I realized that although there was an aluminum bobbin in there, and it was an L size, it was still slightly different from ours. I changed it for an APQS bobbin, and all was well again. Zora
I would not order them specifically for use in my machine, but I have used them successfully. My friend can't use them in her longarm..so I guess it's just hit and miss.
ffq-lar
Superior used to wind their BottomLine Super Bobs on hard plastic bobbins and they worked well. I can't imagine they'd use a different bobbin for their Monopoly. In any case, I saved a bunch of the plastic ones and use them all the time for self-wounds. The only advice I've seen about invisible thread in the bobbin is not to match it on top. The slippery thread needs a mate with more of a bite, like So Fine or cotton.
