quiltermidwife
Hi From new, my thread cutter has never worked. I don't need to use it all the time but sometimes it would be useful. Does it need adjusting or a new blade (although this blade hasn't really been used) Thanks Chris
ffq-lar
Does the button not work or does it work but the blades are not cutting the thread? If it isn't cutting the thread, the two tiny screws next to the blades can be adjusted to space the blades. Those are what cut the thread, not the finger that moves to grab the thread. If the button doesn't work on either handle (front or back) you'll need to call or email APQS for some help. Good luck--I use mine all the time. quiltermidwife
Hi Linda Thanks. Yes the button works, it just doesn't cut. I'll try your suggestion. Chris
ffq-lar
That's great Chris--and an easy fix. Make sure the thread puller arm passes between the blades and you'll be set!
