French Braid

Recommended Posts

For inspiration, search "French braid quilts" on line and find some quilting examples on Pinterest or other sites. It will jump-start your brain and you'll find something that is within (or just outside) your comfort level. You might find a neutral thread color (like taupe or seafoam green) that will work on the entire colorway of greens from light to dark. You'll do great!   :)

I'm using scraps of red/white/blue for a Quilt of Valor, and everything else to make a donation quilt.

It goes so fast, I was surprised, I made a strip 52" long, in 47 minutes.

It actually helps cut down on the odd strips of fabric in the scrap box

Let's see if I can get a picture to upload for me. I had the privilege of quilting one and I used a molar feather panto which worked perfectly and the customer loved it.

well I can't seem to upload photos anymore. will try later
