Lizbeth
I am fairly new to Quilt Path and I am determined to learn all I can and use it since I spent that kind of money. I purchased a digitized design for the center and the melons. The centers quilted out just beautiful. The melons another story. When I bring the pattern in evidently my melons must be smaller so I can't make it fit. I am working on the horizontals one first. When I add multi points and close octagon, then the design is too large. Is there a way of making the design small enough to fit in the melon. Or a way to shrink it to a smaller size Please help ( It seems like nothing ever works on weekends)

Lizbeth
Thanks so much your instructions on stitching out the melons, it worked just beautiful. I had visions of waiting until Monday again, instead I have been able to stitch all day today Is there ever going to be a QP camp in Iowa? Thanks again Betty
barbm
Glad you were able to use the info, Betty! No idea if/when there will be a Boot camp near you. You'll likely have to travel, at least a little ways.
DawnCavanaugh
Betty, We do have Quilt Path classes coming up August 24 and 25 in Des Moines. The introductory class covers all the basics of Quilt Path, including pantographs, block placement, designing simple patterns, recording, and designing quilts. Consider it an overview of the software so that you can learn all of the capabilities of it. The Quilt Path Potpourri course is a little bit of everything--and the topics are based on the needs and questions of the students attending. It gets more in depth into designing your own patterns, learning how to do more specialized tasks like sashes on point, designing your on pantographs, etc. You can learn more about the classes by clicking here. To register just call us at 800-426-7233. Thanks!
