bttyboopette
the fabric in the pinwheels and stars, the 'muddy' print, is from a fave dress of my niece. the dress was given to her by her friend, who, tragically died in an accident in college. it was a little sun dress, well worn, fragile. I didn't get too much from it. I saw the stars in a post somewhere, put this together with all the fabric I could. as for the quilting, still learning, but I bit the bullet and dove in for some feathers. went with an open feather so I could really practice my curving, left me room for wobbles. ;0] really happy with this, she will be thrilled. thanx for looking. Cagey
I believe you niece is going to cherish this labor of love from you. It looks lovely, and your feathers look wonderful. You better bring pack a tissue or two with it for when she opens the package. Cagey
